Damage deposit
Upon arrival, a room deposit of €100,00 is required, which can be paid via credit card (authorisation) or cash. It will be refunded at checkout after the room inspection.
No lift, only steep stairs
Our hotel is situated in a historical architecture building with 5 stories tall which in only reachable by typical Amsterdams steep stairs. Our hotel has no elevator so please be careful while walking on the stairs.
No air conditioning
Please note that the hotel doesn't have an AC (air conditioning).

Check in
Check in from 15:00. Early check-in is subject to availability.
The hotel has a public luggage storage for guests, so you can drop your bags and explore the city right away.
Check out
Check out before 11:00. Late check-out is possible with additional charges — please inform reception about the costs and possibilities.
Luggage storage may be used after checking out.
Parking
Parking is difficult and expensive in Amsterdam. A few options are:
Cheap parking — P+R car park. Park for €13 per 24 hours (Monday to Friday for arrivals before 10.00). After 10.00, and all day at the weekend and on public holidays, you pay only €6 per 24 hours. Maximum 4 days (at P+R RAI, maximum 24 hours). See the P+R website for details.
Valet Parking — have your car picked up by our associate company. Waiting time approximately 30 minutes. €26 per 24 hours + €10 pick-up fee. Pro-tip: let us know 30 minutes before you arrive.
Q-Park de Bijenkorf — 5 minutes walking distance. €55 per 24 hours.
Parking Garage Oosterdok — 20 minutes walking distance. From €10 per day, max €45 per 24 hours.
Online reservations
A valid credit card is required for online bookings. Up to 7 days before your arrival, the first night fee of a standard rate reservation may be blocked on your credit card for guarantee purposes. For non-refundable reservations, the whole booking fee may be blocked on your credit card.
We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, UnionPay credit card and PIN. Our currency is EURO.
Cancellations
Please read the fine print carefully when making a reservation — some reservations cannot be cancelled for free.
Standard policy: a reservation can be cancelled or modified 48 hours before 00:00 CET on the day of check-in for free. Cancellations less than 48 hours before 00:00 CET on the day of check-in (including no-show) are charged the first night fee.
For non-refundable reservations, the total price of the reservation is charged if cancelled at any time.
Tourist tax
Not included in the price: 12,5% of the booking price.
Pets
Pets are not allowed inside the property.
Smoking
Smoking or sabotaging the smoke detector is strictly forbidden on the premises of the hotel. Failure to abide by that rule will result in a €100 fee.
